AS Roma boss Paulo Fonseca has promised to attack Manchester United when the two sides meet on Thursday.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team welcomes the Serie A club to the first leg of the semi-final against Europa Lague at Old Trafford.
United beat Granada 4-0 on two legs to reach the last four while Roma beat Ajax.
Ahead of Thursday’s first leg, Fonseca admitted his side can’t afford to counter-attack deeply against United despite their quality.
“This semi-final with Manchester United is very important and I have to focus on a game that is too important for us,” he told Football Italia.

Roma prepared for their trip to Old Trafford with a 3-2 loss to Cagliari on Sunday night, despite Fonseca making rested key people before Thursday.
