UKIM Madina Masjid’s Nabeel Tariq and iCare Rochdale’s Shazad Ali made baskets for the theater team and children’s services last week
Two local Rochdale community organizations said “thank you” and gifted some free baskets to talented Rochdale Care Organization workers to recognize all their hard work caring for people during the Omicron wave of the pandemic.
UKIM Madina Masjid’s Nabeel Tariq and iCare Rochdale’s Shazad Ali made baskets for the theater team and children’s services last week.
Nabeel said: “We wanted to give something to show our appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the NHS staff at Rochdale Infirmary. It has been a difficult two years with the ongoing pandemic and the current immense pressure from the Omicron variant on our NHS staff.
“UKIM iCare has some great projects planned for 2022 and we want to ensure we continue to work with the Rochdale Care Organization to further strengthen our relationship.”

Steve Taylor, Chief Officer of Rochdale Care Organization said: “On behalf of the staff at Rochdale Care Organization I would like to thank Madina Masjid UKIM and iCare Rochdale for the thoughtful baskets they have recently supplied for our staff.
“They have continually supported our care organization throughout the pandemic by making kind donations including food baskets, supplies and gifts. This support is invaluable and is greatly appreciated by our employees who continue to work so hard during these challenging times.”
Nabeel and the UKIM iCare team delivered over 300 packs of food for care workers and patients during the first wave of the pandemic.
