Brimrod Primary School children in front of the school’s harvest donations
A generous donation was made by Brimrod Primary School to Rochdale Foodbank for their harvest festival this year.
Children of all ages brought a variety of non-perishable goods that are donated to the local food bank. The harvest time is one of the most favorable times of the year for the table, along with Christmas and the holidays.
Joanne Morgan, Headmistress of Brimrod Primary, said, “This is the sixth year we have been supporting our local board that we are very proud of. Every year the amount of items donated increases and the children are happy to see how much they have collected.
“Each class also learned a Harvest song, which they performed wonderfully in the congregation. The sun shone wonderfully in our auditorium and made it an unforgettable event.
“A big thank you to all parents who donated food.”
