Rochdale had the cheapest home which was sold in Greater Manchester in the three months to December 2021.
A terraced house on Dover Street, which sold for £39,995 on October 1, was the least expensive house sold in the region between October and December.
Other Rochdale borough homes included in the 10 least expensive houses sold include a property on Latrigg Crescent in Middleton, which sold for £41,250, and a flat at Kingfisher Court in Great Howarth, which sold for £46,000.
The sale of the flat may have been a buy-to-let, a transfer to a company, or a repossession.
Homes in Wigan, Bury, Stockport and Oldham were also included in the least expensive list while Altrincham was the area of Greater Manchester with the most expensive houses.
A detached home in Altrincham sold for £3,400,000 on November 15, making it the most expensive.
Average house prices across the UK increased by 10.8% over the year to December 2021, up from 10.6% in November 2021, according to figures from the Office for National Statistics.
Between the beginning of 2016 and the end of 2019, there was a general slowdown in UK house price growth, driven mainly by a slowdown in the south and east of England.

In a separate study three Rochdale streets were included in the five lowest-priced streets to buy a home in the city-region.
According to data from Property Solvers, Baguley Crescent is the second lowest-priced street in Greater Manchester where six properties sold for an average of £35,500.
Kingfisher Court and Oldham Road rounded out the top five with houses selling for an average of £39,500 and £39,200 respectively.
