Two entrepreneurs will go head-to-head with the country’s smartest businessmen as they enter the Dragon’s Lair
Kandy Kitchen Creations directors Karen and Andy Turner will be presenting their business on next week’s show in hopes of winning an investment.
The couple founded the company, which sells natural soups, stews, risottos and puddings, after visiting friends in Canada in 2017.
In 2019 the company was named New Company of the Year at the Rochdale Business Awards for its innovative range of ‘Super Simple’ foods and the company has grown in reputation and size every year since.
Andy and Karen said they wish they had a pound for every time friends and family told them to appear on the show.

Karen said, “Our products are so unique that we’re often asked if we’ve ever thought of going into the dragon’s lair – well, we finally did!”
