Flights departed from Manchester Airport to Ibiza, Mallorca and Menorca on Thursday, with customers in the region flying to Green List destinations for much-needed sunshine.
Today (July 2nd) there was also a flight to Madeira. This is in addition to the company’s existing flight and vacation program to Jersey.
After news last week that the Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza), Malta and Madeira had been Green Listed, Jet2com and Jet2holidays reported a huge surge in bookings from Manchester Airport to these destinations and customers were pouring in Flock to book July and August vacations.

The holiday airline and specialist in package tours reported the highest booking volume in the Balearic Islands for almost a year, with bookings rising at times by more than 3,000 percent in July alone. Bookings for Madeira also rose by almost 1,500 percent as customers took the chance to finally book and enjoy their much-needed vacation.
In addition to booking and traveling on award-winning flights and ATOL protected package tours to these destinations from Manchester Airport, customers can also experience and enjoy the company’s VIP customer service.
