HEAD coach Ben Garner announced that he will have all but one of his squads available for Saturday’s League Two home game against Rochdale.
After a busy week for five of Town’s internationals, only Anthony Grant will be definitely missing from the matchday squad as Garner’s men try to cement their position among the top three in the second division.
In the press conference before the game on Friday, Garner confirmed that four of his five internationals for Rochdale would be considered.
He said: “The three who came back on Thursday are all fine, Jonny Williams, Kaine Kesler-Hayden, Alex Gilbert.
“Jojo Wollacott arrived back at Heathrow late Thursday, so he returned to training on Friday. He has played for Ghana in both games and I’m sure he and his family are very proud.
“Anthony Grant played both games for Jamaica and is flying back on Saturday.
“They are all good, they have all had good away experiences – one or the other is a little disappointed not having played any more – but it is great for us to have them back in good health.”
Minor blows to defenders Akin Odimayo and Romoney Crichlow appear to have cleared up as they are supposed to be okay ahead of Saturday’s game.
In the meantime, Steve Mildenhall will once again take on a purely coaching role as Garner chooses between his stoppers to take on the starting jersey.
Garner said, “Akin Odimayo is fine, he will be available tomorrow. Only Anthony Grant is not traveling back until Saturday so everyone else is available.
“We will have two younger goalkeepers in the squad – one is playing, one is on the bench.
“I have chosen the team, we will only go through a few more things in practice on Friday in terms of our preparation for Rochdale.”
