The annual council-organized bonfire and firework display at Cronkeyshaw Common
Summer days may now be over but funlovers are already looking forward to gathering around a roaring bonfire and enjoying some spectacular fireworks.
People in the borough of Rochdale can join in the traditional autumn festivities at organized events being held across the borough.
Organized by the council, the details can be found below.
Rochdale Bonfire and Fireworks Display
Where: Cronkeyshaw Common, Syke, Rochdale OL12 0QR
When: Wednesday 2 November 7pm – 10pm
Cost: Free
Rochdalians are invited to join in the fun at this large organized bonfire and fireworks display at Cronkeyshaw Common.
The bonfire will be lit at 7pm, followed by a spectacular firework display at 7.30pm.
This event is wheelchair accessible, and refreshments will be available.
Parking will be extremely limited, so people are asked to walk or use public transport if they can.
Greenbank Road and Dewhirst Road will be closed for vehicles from 6pm–9pm.
Heywood Bonfire and Fireworks Display
Where: Queen’s Park Road, Heywood
When: Tuesday 1 November 7pm – 10pm
Cost: Free
Heywoodites are invited to join in the fun with at this large organized bonfire and fireworks display at Queen’s Park Road, Heywood – opposite Queen’s Park.
The bonfire will be lit at 7pm, followed by a spectacular firework display at 7.30pm. There is also a family funfair.
This event is wheelchair accessible, and refreshments will be available.
Parking will be extremely limited, so people are asked to walk or use public transport if they can.
Middleton Bonfire and Fireworks Display
Where: Bowlee Community Park, Heywood Old Rd, Middleton
When: Monday 31 October 7pm – 10pm
Cost: Free
Middletonians are invited to join in the fun at this large organized bonfire and fireworks display.
The bonfire will be lit at 7pm, followed by a spectacular firework display at 7.30pm. There will also be a family funfair.
This event is wheelchair accessible, and refreshments will be available.
Parking will be extremely limited, so people are asked to walk or use public transport if they can.

Milnrow Cricket Club Annual Bonfire & Fireworks Display
Where: Milnrow Cricket Club, Harbor Lane, Milnrow, OL16 4HF
When: Saturday 5 November from 5pm
Cost: Adults £5 / Under 16s £3 / Family (2 adults, 2 children) £15 / Children under 6 free
The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm, followed by a spectacular firework display at 8pm, as well as some entertainment in the clubhouse following the display.
Strictly no parking at the venue (limited blue badge holder parking) so please arrive on foot.
The event is strictly ticket only.

Littleborough Cricket Club Bonfire & Firework Display
Where: Littleborough Cricket Club, Denehurst Road, Littleborough, OL15 9HL
When: Saturday 5 November from 4pm
Cost: £5 per person / £20 Family (2 adults + 3 children/concessions)
The bonfire will be lit at 5.30pm, followed by a spectacular firework display at 7pm. There will also be a family funfair.
The event is strictly ticket only. Buying tickets in advance is recommended and no guarantee there will be tickets left on the night.

North Cricket Club Firework Display
Where: North Cricket Club, Woodhouse Lane, North, OL12 7SD
When: Saturday 5 November from 5pm
Cost: Adult £5, Child £3, Family (2 adults, 3 children) £15
Amazing fireworks display, fairground rides and lots of family fun. Food and drinks available.
Strictly no parking at the venue (limited blue badge holder parking) so please arrive on foot.
