Rochdale: temporary local road closures and restrictions
Area: Rochdale
Reason: To repair the carriageway.
Expected start and finish: Monday 15 November 2021 – Tuesday 23 August 2022.
Restriction and location:
- Temporary closure of Dell Road to vehicles, from a point 305 meters from its junction with Shawclough Road for a distance of 330 meters in a north westerly direction.
- Temporary closure of Dell Road to vehicles and pedestrians from a point 485 meters from its junction with Shawclough Road for a distance of 364 meters in a north westerly direction.
- Temporary suspension of parking at any time along Dell Road from its junction with Shawclough Road for a distance of 297 meters in a westerly direction.
alternative route; The alternative route for vehicles will be Market Street, Shawclough Road and Dell Road.

Reason: To install 4 new sewer connections for a new housing development.
Expected start and finish: Sunday 26 June 2022 – Monday 25 July 2022.
Restriction and location: Temporary closure of Royle Road, from its junction with Silk Street to a point 218 meters in a southerly direction.
Alternative route: The alternative route for vehicles is Silk Street, Manchester Road and Royle Road. Residential access will still be maintained.

Reason: to replace gas mains and other associated works.

Restriction and location: the prohibition of vehicles from traveling along Boardman Lane, from its junction with Hilton Walk to its junction with Ellis Lane, and Ellis Lane for its entire length.
Alternative routes: the alternative route for vehicles is Boardman Lane, Manchester Old Road (A576) and Heywood Old Road (A6045).

Heywood: temporary local road closures and restrictions
Area: Heywood
Reason: To fix a gas leak in the carriageway.
Expected start and finish: Monday 11 July 2022 – Monday 1 August 2022.
Restriction and location: Temporary closure of George Street, from a point 159 meters north of its junction with Bridge Street for a distance of 30 meters in a northernly direction.
Alternative route: The alternative route for vehicles is Bridge Street, Peel Street, Cherwell Avenue and Bank Top Street.

Reason: To resurface the carriageway.
Expected start and finish:
- The suspension of width and weight restrictions will be in place from Monday 25 July 2022 – Friday 19 August 2022.
- The closure of Pilsworth Road, south west from its junction with Hareshill Road and Airborne Way, will be in place from Monday 25 July 2022 – Friday 5 August 2022.
- The closure of Pilsworth Road, north east from its junction with Hareshill Road and Airborne Way, will be in place from Monday 8 August 2022 – Friday 19 August 2022.
Restriction and location:
- Temporary suspension of weight restrictions. Any vehicles exceeding 18 tonnes, loaded or unloaded, can travel along the following lengths of road:
- Pilsworth Road, from a point 2 meters south west of its junction with Broadfield Street for a distance of 166 meters in a south westerly direction.
- Moss Hall Road, from a point 10 meters south of its junction with Grassington Drive for a distance of 208 meters in a southerly direction.
- Temporary suspension of width restrictions. Any vehicle whose width exceeds 7 feet, six inches, including any load, can travel along Pilsworth Road, from a point 2 meters south west of its junction with Broadfield Street for a distance of 166 meters in a south westerly direction.
- Temporary closure of Pilsworth Road, from its junction with Hareshill Road and Airborne Way for a distance of 320 meters in a south westerly direction.
- A second temporary closure of Pilsworth Road, from its junction with Hareshill Road and Airborne Way for a distance of 292 meters in a north easterly direction.
Alternative route: The alternative route for vehicles will be Pilsworth Road, Moss Hall Road, Heap Brow, Bury New Road (A58), Bury Street (A58) and Bridge Street (A58).

Pennines: temporary local road closures and restrictions
Area: Littleborough
Reason: To construct traffic calming measures in the carriageway.
Expected start and finish: 9.30am – 3.30pm each day, Monday 4 July 2022 – Friday 22 July 2022.
Restriction and location: Temporary closure of Temple Lane, for its entire length.
Alternative route: The alternative route for vehicles will be Todmorden Road and Barnes Meadows.

Reason: To allow access for heavy equipment and machinery.

- Riverstone Bridge, both sides for its entire length
- Railway Street, both sides from its junction with Peel Street for the remainder of its length in a south westerly direction
