The Rochdale Musical Theater Company (RMTC) is tickled pink to stage the musical Legally Blonde.
The musical will take place from October 1st to 9th in the Champness Hall with matinees on Saturdays.
Emma Wild of the group said, “Despite the challenges of the past eighteen months of online and outdoor auditions and socially distant rehearsals, RMTC has persisted in bringing back live theater in all of its fascinating glory.
“It is this determination to bring quality musical theater to Rochdale that has kept this society alive since 1898.

“RMTC are pleased to be able to perform in the Champness Hall Function Room, which has a tiered stage, a state-of-the-art large screen with 275 seats per performance and professional lighting and sound technology.
“Combine that with a highly talented cast led by Jess Bray, loads of pink, a dash of fun and laughter and this show is the perfect vehicle for those who missed a night of live entertainment.”
Based on the book by Amanda Brown, Legally Blonde the Musical tells the story of popular sorority president Elle Woods, who seems to have it all, but Elle’s life is turned upside down when her boyfriend leaves to begin his studies at Harvard Law – where Elle follows him and excels and also decides that she is better off without him.
