Manchester-based vacation giant Awaze has almost doubled the size of its office space in the city to accommodate its fast-growing workforce.
Europe’s leading managed vacation rental and park company announced in January that it plans to increase its workforce to 100 at WeWork Dalton Place by the end of next year.
However, by hiring 50 new employees in the past three months, the current team has already grown to 75, which means the group behind brands like Hoseasons, Cottages.com and Landal GreenParks UK have accelerated their expansion plans and added space at WeWork Dalton Place last October.
John Crosby, Awaze’s Group Chief Operating Officer, said: “We always knew Manchester would give us access to a rich talent pool, but we were really blown away by the quality of the candidates we were able to recruit so quickly. It’s a fantastic time to get into the UK travel industry and the super talented team we are recruiting will play a key role in making sure we stay ahead of our clients and our properties when it comes to being the most compelling Offer to make owner partners alike. “
Awaze offers vacation experiences to more than eight million guests each year with over 110,000 properties in 36 countries.

The Manchester team includes technologists, revenue managers and marketers, as well as commercial and legal professionals.
One of the reasons the company chose WeWork Dalton Place as its base was because of the potential to rapidly grow the workplace in response to changing recruitment needs.
Mathieu Proust, General Manager, UK, Ireland & Emerging Markets at WeWork, said: “We are excited to continue to work with and work closely with Awaze to support their seamless expansion at WeWork Dalton Place. It’s great to see companies like Awaze seeing the benefits of having a flexible workspace to scale up quickly. “
